About Amy
I'm a therapist passionate about helping adults and kids thrive. I'm originally from Alamo California, locally here in the Bay Area. I have my LCSW and attended University of Southern California and University of Chicago for graduate school. I have 16 years of experience delivering mental health therapy and support at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and Stanford Healthcare. In Los Angeles, I served a variety of clients including high profile individuals, as well as facilitated support groups. I participated and authored multiple research studies on depression and quality of life and co-authored a book chapter in The handbook of Wellness Medicine, Cambridge University press. Due to my career in healthcare, I've had the amazing opportunity to experience a wide array of mental health conditions and human experiences and enjoy working with individuals in all stages of life. My intention right away when we start working together, is to provide you a sense of security, support and belonging.

In my free time I enjoy hiking and running local trails, skiing in Lake Tahoe, traveling to a beach vacation, playing with our silly golden retriever and cat, and watching Bay Area sports. I played competitive soccer in the community all my life and Division 1 soccer at USC. I have many lenses in which I view the world, athletics and nature are amongst them.
