FAQS

 Do You Provide In-Person Therapy?

At this time, I'm currently a Telehealth practice exclusively, and see clients only over HIPPA compliant (encrypted and secure) video sessions or by telephone, if preferred or logistically necessary. This service is provided through a digital electronic health record platform. Virtual sessions have allowed for the most incredible and meaningful access to mental health therapy. I take pride in connecting deeply with my clients in session, despite a screen between us. After our initial phone meet - and we decide to schedule our first appointment, you will receive a link to your secure client portal with paperless consent documents to simply E-sign.
 Do You Accept Insurance?

I do not accept insurance. But I can provide a superbill, upon request to submit for potential reimbursement. Fees are due at the time of service and a credit or debit card must be put on file to bill for services.

Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. In accordance with the No Surprises Act, clients paying out-of-pocket or not using their insurance have the right to request a Good Faith Estimate, which provides an estimate of charges for non-emergency psychotherapy services. Please contact me to request an estimate.
 48- Hour Cancellation Policy

I require at least 48-hours' notice prior to the cancellation of a session. If you cancel with less than 48-hours notice or don't show up for a scheduled appointment, you will be charged the full fee for the cost of services scheduled. This policy may not apply in a rare extenuating circumstance. Session slots are held for you on weekly basis, so we can build upon our work together. I maintain a limited number of clients to ensure we have the emotional space and personalized attention which is deserved.
 Minors

In order for me to work with your child, I require written consent from each caregiver with legal custody.
